Teachers Needed!

Posted April 13, 2015

Nerinx Hall is looking for a physics teacher to team teach with a current teacher for the remainder of this school year. Ideally such a person would have at least a B. S. in physics and would be available 20 hours per week, at varying times and days of the week. Nerinx Hall is on a rotating block schedule, so each class meets on different days of the week each week, and at different times of the day from day to day. Our current teacher is dealing with her husband's health issues and needs some back up. The job would entail observing class, grading and, if deemed appropriate and necessary, giving the occasional lecture or lab. The classes taught are a Physics First class for freshmen and a college-level, algebra-based physics class for seniors. Please contact the Science department chair, Kevin Budd, at kbudd@nerinxhs.org , if interested.
